Oregon Export Promotion: approved export-activity reimbursement: how to apply
Application guidance reviewed 2026-10-11. Limited 2026–2027 funds; individual company trips are not approved and ad-hoc trade shows may be waitlisted.
Start here: Contact a Business Oregon Global Trade Specialist about an agency-approved 2026-2027 export event before booking. Other individual-company trade-show requests are waitlisted. Ask which application lead time applies: the page states both 30 and 60 days.
How to apply: full steps and checklist
1. Is this for me?
Oregon-headquartered export-ready small businesses with at least one year in business and sufficient Oregon employment; additional activity rules apply.
Service area: Oregon; confirm program-specific location and institution requirements.
2. What should I prepare?
Some documents may be conditional. Ask about alternatives. Checkmarks are temporary and are not saved or sent.
3. Where and how do I submit?
Use Click Here to Apply for Export Grant on Business Oregon's program page. Create an Export Application Portal account, complete the online application and attach the required certifications and survey. Business Oregon's Global Trade Team reviews it.
Timing: The current publisher page states both 30-day and 60-day advance application lead times. Confirm the applicable lead time with a Global Trade Specialist before booking or spending. Agency-approved 2026-2027 events are prioritized; other individual-company trade shows are waitlisted.
4. What will it cost?
Details to confirm with the provider
A program-specific cost explanation has not been verified. Ask the provider whether this route has any fees, required contribution or repayment terms, and what cost assistance is available.
5. What happens after I submit?
If accepted, review the emailed grant packet and return the signed agreement before activity starts. Afterward submit Exhibit A, Exhibit B and receipts/proof of payment within 30 days of the event's final date in the agreement. Funding is reimbursement for approved expenses; retroactive activities are excluded.
6. What if something goes wrong?
Resolve timing, expense eligibility or missing-document questions with the Global Trade Team before spending. The program coordinator is Emma Weber, emma.weber@biz.oregon.gov, 971-719-3606. An application or waitlist entry does not guarantee an award.
