Start here: Open ONE at https://one.oregon.gov and apply for food benefits, or call 800-699-9075. You can also apply at a local ODHS office.
1. Is this for me?
Oregon residents meeting household, income and applicable program requirements. Special rules can apply to students, work requirements and immigration status.

2. What should I prepare?
Some documents may be conditional. Ask about alternatives. Checkmarks are temporary and are not saved or sent.
3. Where and how do I submit?
Submit the SNAP application to ODHS through ONE, by telephone at 800-699-9075, or at an ODHS benefits office. Upload requested verification through ONE or take it to that office.

- Complete the SNAP eligibility interview.
- Send the verification requested for your household.
- Check the decision and EBT instructions; renew and report changes as directed.
Timing: Applications can be requested year-round; follow the deadline on any agency notice.
4. What will it cost?

A program-specific cost explanation has not been verified. Ask the provider whether this route has any fees, required contribution or repayment terms, and what cost assistance is available.
5. What happens after I submit?
Complete the phone or in-person interview ODHS schedules. Check ONE messages for requests and the eligibility decision. If approved, watch for the Oregon Trail EBT card by mail. Complete the periodic report and renewal by the dates in your notices.
6. What if something goes wrong?
Ask ODHS to correct inaccurate case information. To challenge a SNAP decision or benefit amount, request a hearing by phone, in writing, in person, or with Administrative Hearing Request form MSC 0443. ODHS staff can help. Follow the hearing deadline in your notice; speaking with a manager does not extend it.

Call 800-699-9075 for an interpreter or accessible materials; relay calls are accepted. For ONE sign-in or identity-verification problems, call 833-978-1073. Older adults and people with disabilities can call ADRC at 855-673-2372.
